Tasib Mughal was born and educated in the UK. He is a keen and active environmentalist who has been involved with local, regional and national organisations all his adult life. He has an interest in climate and resource issues and how they effect social justice, equality and cohesion of communities. He is also actively involved in the burgeoning transition movement that addresses the effects of peak oil and climate change on society and their impact on future generations. He is also interested in examining how the processes of mitigation, adaptation and resilience deployed via the implementation of behavioural and technological advancements could ward off the most extreme consequences of current forecasts.
