One of our strategic objectives is to create mass awareness amongst Muslims both about what is happening to planet earth and how we may have recourse to Islamic teachings to deal with this matter. You will find in this section material we have developed over the years which could be categorised as Islamic environmental education and which is now used in various parts of the world to good effect. We would be the first to say that this is wholly inadequate given the enormity of the task we have undertaken and that we should be doing more. Here we come up against a resource issue.
